Here are some common questions I receive. If the answers below don’t give you what you need feel free to contact me at mail @

How Do You Start Writing A Novel?

The key is to come up with a premise and then start writing. Most people think they have to plot out an entire book to get into a book. Not true. All it takes is the spark to get started. Just sit down and start putting words on paper. Whatever comes into your head about the topic you’ve assigned yourself, just put it down. The editing and whatever else can come in later, but the initial idea can carry you through a first draft.

How Do You Find the Time?

Funny you should ask. I’ve written a whole blog post about it. But the basic rule of thumb is simple: Whatever you do in life, you can’t let the things you¬†have to do get totally in the way of the things you really¬†want to do. You might have a family, kids, dogs, cats, and a demanding job, but if you can’t find a half hour to an hour to fulfill the things you dream about, then maybe think about your current priorities in life.

Where Can I Find Your Books?

There are several options. First of all, you can get physical copies at these locations, and the list is growing. I’d like to give a specific shout-out to Parnassus Books in Nashville. They’ve been a godsend. They treat indie authors with respect and dignity, and I’d recommend anyone who is in the area with a published book reach out for placement.

Online, of course, there are Amazon and Smashwords.
